Wow, what a week. I was picked up by Tim
and June who are just about the loveliest people a bear could
ever meet. They have sent many bears (see my relatives
page) of into the land of Geocaching. These people are
very famous amongst us caching bears so I was on my best behaviour.
How was I to know that cupids arrow was
going to strike me down in a place such as this? She was
tall and blond and clever and charming and witty and married.
Her name was Lucy, I knew I wanted her as soon as I met
her but all she would talk about was her husband Christopher
and his search for Gulliver.
She seemed so strong, having been abandoned by her husband
- all I know is that if she were my bird I wouldn't let
her out of my sight.
As the week went on I fell for her more
and more, her eyes were as shiny as the shiniest plastic,
her smile would light up the whole room and she had a great
chest. We talked and talked until the early hours I felt
like I had met my soul mate (though failing that I would
have settled for some horizontal dancing). All too soon
I realised that the week would be up and I would be off
to a new cache. I only had one chance at this so I asked
her for a farewell dinner. She said yes!!!!!
