For 2 weeks I spent my time shut in the Chris
n Marias Cache - Cold
War No More Only once did I see light as they came back
to make sure I was eating properly and to insert the "Congratulations
You've found it" letter. Exactly a week latter I was
rescued by a nice chap who goes by the strange name of Masher.
He seemed like a nice chap who knows how to party so I set
off in his pocket to a place I had only heard about in legend....Luton.
Masher Rescuing me from the cache
What
a place! All night drinking binges and more crisps than
you can shake a stick at! I just love Luton.
Mark and Jo did me proud all week showing
me the sights and introducing me to their friends.
So this is the Mecca they call Luton
Football with strange rules
They
took me to see a football match. Wow thats a bit different
to Aussie rules! I couldn't understand why you send people
off for arguing. In Oz thats how you play the game.
Our
last night involved a slap up meal and lots and lots of Fosters.
I have vague memories of singing Waltzing Matilda to some
nice pommy bird, whilst wearing a road cone on my head. Funny
she didn't seem interested in a night-cap back at my cache.
I wonder why.
A Night to Remember..Only I don't
The
following day Masher kindly placed me in Simons
Hide and I waited there for my next adventure. Dan &
Pid picked me up and gave me a lift to their cache Watermead
Wetlands which is a nice place if alittle damp. Shame
those boys didn't fancy a weeks raving. Thats the trouble
with young people today, no staying power :)
Then I was been rescued by Tim and June
now these lovely people are going to show me how they party
in Winchester - the town (not Dave) that is. Click here
to read the next phase of my adventures.
